My biggest passion is performing in front of a live audience, and I have been gigging cover songs since 2007 as a solo act. Since I started working with my producer and songwriter Nigel Mervyn at Scorpio Songs in 2012, I have embraced the new challenges of recording with original songs which have been written especially for me.
I am from Ellesmere, a little town in the county of Shropshire, England. I studied Musical Theatre at Shrewsbury College of Arts, achieving a BTEC National Diploma with a Triple Distinction, and have taken singing grades in both Musical Theatre and Popular Music. With my experience gained from performing live with cover songs, I have developed a broad and varied understanding of popular music from a repertoire which includes stage shows, ballads, classics, country and current pop to rock music.
Now, working with original music and lyrics I have truly found my direction and we are unleashing a powerful and distinctive genre of music to appeal to a wide and varied audience. I am heavily influenced by Adele and Emile Sande but I also have a wide vision and will take inspiration from many other established artists from all genres from country performers past and present to current chart artists.
